Schipperkes are a very smart and loyal little dog. Some say they are one of the
best kept secerets in the small dog world! They love to be part of what ever you are doing. Schipperke's make excellent
little alert/watch dogs, and they adore children. They are also awesome rat catchers, as this is what they were bred
to do! Schipperkes can become territorial, and so they should be well socialized to other people when young, as they
tend to prefer their family over strangers if they have not been properly socialized to them as a puppy.
